Horse Boarding and Riding Lessons

Stonesthrow Arena and Stable is a place of friendship and enjoyment. Located in the midst of Yamhill wine country, and only four miles from George Fox University and The Allison Spa and Resort, this is where you want to be.

 

We have a light, bright and clean barn looking for select boarders.  We offer full care stalls and a good community of riders with which to share your riding plans!  Safe, sane and pleasant.

And whether you are vacationing for a week, leaving for a year at college, or your horse needs a long term retirement program, please consider Stonesthrow for your peace of mind.  You are welcome to call our barn home.

Safety and enjoyment are treated as necessities when riding in our arena!  We offer affordable lessons for the absolute beginner to the advanced "show ready" horse and rider team looking to polish up their performance.  Our two instructors are well respected and knowledgeable.

 

Stonesthrow Arena hosts a small 4-H riding club, many trail riders, a few high school students, two university students and a two well respected horse trainers/riding instructors.  We enjoy time in one of the two arenas working with trail obstacles, ground work, and of course, our riding partners.  Occasionally, we camp in one of the many horse camps around our area or have the instructor in for a group lesson. We're always on the lookout for new friends and new ways to enjoy our horse habit/hobby!
